The Biggest Threat to the 2018 Election? Russia.

Think about how Democrats, and the majority of Americans felt on the morning of November 5, 2016. Think about how you have felt for the past two years since that day.
Think about everything Donald Trump has done to this country to make it worse. Think about how you will feel on the morning of November 7 if Republicans keep the House and the Senate.

That is exactly what is going to happen if there isn’t an all out effort to protect voting machines and the voting process. Today, nothing is being done to stop it. Normally, the federal government would step in. They didn’t in 2016. Our leaders didn’t want to believe that Russia would interfere with our elections in that way. They were wrong. Donald Trump won’t do anything about it because the Russians will help him and the GOP stay in power.

So, here we are again. As I write this post voters in Maricopa County AZ can’t cast ballots because the machines aren’t working. The largest country in AZ. Coincidence? There are no coincidences. It’s a dry run for November.

Billions of dollars are being spent on elections across this country. The fate of America rests in the Democrats wining the House, Senate or both because Republicans won’t hold Trump accountable. Yet, not one penny is being spent to truly stop Russia from upending our election…again. Not. One. Penny.
Nothing. That is the definition of insanity….doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. Nope. The same thing will happen. Again. You will wake up on November 7 after spending two years door knocking, protesting, donating, writing emails, listening to podcasts, watching every development on cable tv, Twitter, Facebook, feeling even worse than you did the morning after the 2016 election.

Is it worth it?

Shouldn’t everyone spend money and time now to make sure our elections are secure and fair…that every voter can cast their vote and have it counted fairly and accurately.

What are you doing about it?

Are you calling every elected official you know to make sure our election is secure from Russian interference? Every Secretary of State, Attorney General, Senator, Congressman/woman, Governor? Everyone?

There’s only 70 days left…and it’s so late…just like it was in 2016.

They did nothing.

We must do something.

Now.
